Laurent Ferrier
Laurent Ferrier, born in Geneva in 1946, is a third-generation watchmaker who graduated from the École d’Horlogerie de Genève in 1968. After working in motor racing, including seven participations in the Le Mans 24 Hours race and a win in 1978, he returned to watchmaking in 1974 and worked for a major Geneva manufacturer for 37 years. In 2009, he co-founded the Laurent Ferrier brand with François Servanin, with whom he had previously raced, and today works alongside his son Christian in the Creative Department.
